A dizzying look at the world
\nthrough the eyes of a disowned daughter;
\nocean declared the province of death
\nand everywhere water, water.<\/p>\n

Any direction the wind goes
\nprovides for they who have no route
\ncircling wave-ripples, wave-ripples,
\nwave-ripples, in aimless pursuit.<\/p>\n

The sun stuns, the heat strokes,
\nand no one else can see
\nbut they who die in mid-ocean
\nhow imperishable water can be.<\/p>\n
