Sometimes just not evident.

\nAll birds fly. Beautfifully…<\/p>\n

My eyes watch them every morning at 5:30.<\/p>\n

What eternal secrets can they share?
\n <\/p>\n

When evening arrives, I leave my tears.<\/p>\n

In the morning, they are picked up by the birds.<\/p>\n

They carry my thoughts into the air.<\/p>\n

Flapping their wings as if to explain to the world<\/p>\n

what I gave them. Trying to tell my story.
\n <\/p>\n

One day, five landed on my arm trying to tell me something.<\/p>\n

Then, flew away into the clouds.<\/p>\n

There is no line between us.<\/p>\n

Only an understanding that we all must<\/p>\n

share a branch, perch…
\n <\/p>\n

The birds gave me their song, and kept<\/p>\n

my bleeding for the infinite.

\nI always liked getting lost in cornfields.<\/p>\n

The stalks bothered my skin so stayed<\/p>\n

hidden only for a little while.

Miles and miles of corn, sticking up<\/p>\n

from flatness, reaching for the sky.<\/p>\n

You could never understand my love for this.

So many bad storms.<\/p>\n

Lightning scaring the horses.<\/p>\n

They break loose and run<\/p>\n

in the field.<\/p>\n

Appreciating freedom like me<\/p>\n

as we swallow the sky.
