Friends are abandoning us. We are staying alone<\/p>\n

Will he really step into this trap?<\/p>\n

Does he really want to stuff his mouth with our soil?<\/p>\n

Is his best friend a subterranean mole, not a wolf?<\/p>\n

Is the earth that hungry for blood?<\/p>\n

The vampire is insatiable and gentle like a calf,<\/p>\n

only it doesn\u2019t suck milk, he prefers to suck blood from veins, <\/p>\n

so that he gets asked later \u2013 in what regiment he had served<\/p>\n

so that his chest is all covered with orders, post-mortem.<\/p>\n

The body decayed; the soul remained all alone.<\/p>\n
