cool to the sailor’s touch, hand<\/p>\n

a length heavy with disappearance,<\/p>\n
more moisture finding the brow<\/p>\n
of a fading jogger, his black dog’s fur.<\/p>\n
A flashing light, flashes vanishing,<\/p>\n

a distance with little daylight,<\/p>\n
only a horn finds a way out, spray<\/p>\n
after spray is heard, like a breeze<\/p>\n
leaving the lighthouse windows<\/p>\n

celebration follows a melting river<\/p>\n

when flight overtakes the land<\/p>\n
and eyes of all colors can see<\/p>\n
the blue snake moving inward, old<\/p>\n
