Alexander Milstein

Born in Kharkiv in 1963, Alexander Milstein is a short story writer, novelist, and visual artist. After studying mathematics, he began writing in 1988. Since then, he has published eight books of prose, half in Russia and the other half in Ukraine, where his collection “Pyatipol,” featuring his paintings alongside his texts, was published in 2017. His paintings are partly based on his literary works. Since the publication of “Pyatipol,” they are exhibited in galleries and are included in his books.
