Lena Mandel holds an MA from The Jewish Theological Seminary of America, an MS from Columbia University (psychology), and a JD from Rutgers University/Newark. Now largely retired from a career as an attorney, she focuses on literary translation. Her translations have appeared in OPEN: Journal of Arts & Letters, Packingtown Review, Peauxdunque Review, The Courtship of Winds, Jewish Fiction.net, Down in the Dirt, Green Hill Literary Lantern, and SORTES.
